Ugh delicious. Decided to go sit in with a friend and order at the table. The server was very kind, even squeezed the lime into the water before bringing it to us. The plate was massive, I was only able to eat half before filling up and the rest is for lunch the next day. The restaurant was very cute, sadly it's empty, but we were sat and attended to very quickly. Current valentines decorations are adorable with tulips on the table as well!

Our first experience here and of Honduran cuisine! Loved it. Beef pastelitos, the fish fry, the fried chicken on the bed of plaintain chips (Pollo con tajadas)...was all great! The tamarind drink was amazing!

This place has really good and fresh dishes. The service was excellent, and prices are pretty decent. The restaurant is nice and clean, and the background music is just right! I recommend this place.

Put this place at the top of your South American Ethnic Dining List. Don't look at this place as just another Hispanic restaurant, it delivers subtle well balanced flavors that are quite unique and distinctly different from other Latin American cuisines. The Baleades I started with as an app was phenomenal, it may look familiar but trust me, you will be surprised at just how delicious this very simple tortilla/burrito Honduran style is. The Carne Asada followed next; it too was full of subtle well spiced Latin flavors which was a real treat. Everything on the plate was representative of true Honduran cuisine, after all I was dining with a Honduran friend who reminisced about the restaurants authenticity, you can't do better than that recommendation. So, get down there and give them a try, you are in for a pleasant surprise and a wonderful dining experience.

I had dinner from here on a week day. It was not busy. People serving the fook know exactly what is in the menu, and what is being eaten in Honduras. This is the first Honduran restaurant I am trying. I loved the food. Seems in Hondurus, they eat breakfast in the morning and dinner. So if you go after 6 pm, you can actually get breakfast items too. Baleada Con Todo seems to be a super popular breakfast item. It was very good. Tortilla with cheese beans and avocado stuffed in it. Pollo Con Tajadas was an interesting entree. It had a lot of home made plantain chips, with three pieces of crispy fried chicken. It had some veggies too. I liked the combination. Trying it for the first time. Tejados De Banano Verde or fried banana with a cheese dipping was good. But it was a bit too oily though. For drink I had Horchata. The horchata had a chocolate flavot to it, which I thought was nice.

A delicious new casual spot for Latin cuisine. If you like plantains this is the place. We especially enjoyed the "nacho" style chicken on a bed of plantains. It was all good and look forward to returning to explore more of their offerings. The staff were amazing and polite. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Behind every Foodie in the Know, is another Foodie More in the Know. My Friend Alicia messaged me that 504 Honduran Cuisine had just opened in the West Hartford Design District. I was immediately intrigued because I don't remember having eaten Honduran food. I only live about 10 minutes away and I was eating lunch there about an hour later. 504 is located in the former building of a Vietnamese Restaurant on New Park. The vibe is pleasant and comfortable. There are some touches for the IG era such as a neon side and painted angel wings. Service was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Tajadas Con Carne Molida. With Honduran-Seasoned ground beef, pickled red onions, red cabbage, fresh cheese crumbles, salad and sauce, all piled on fried green plantain chips, it presents like Honduran nachos. The beef seasoning reminded me of the traditional Goya blend. The beef was a bit salty on its own, but when layered with the other acidic and juicy ingredients, it worked. I'm excited to know about an area Honduran restaurant, and 504 is off to a good start. Four Stars
